Botball Referral Fundraising Program
In an effort to increase awareness about the positive impact of the Botball Educational Robotics Program and to help teams raise funding for Botball, KISS Institute has implemented a Referral Fundraising Program. Each team that encourages another team to participate in the Botball program is eligible for a $50 cash or $75 credit incentive. The incentive can be used towards items such as:
- Botball Merchandise
- Botball Kit/Electronic Parts
- Registration for Nationals
- Rebate Check (issued two weeks after tournament date)
- Registration for next Botball season
The incentive will be applied to your team’s account upon tournament completion by both the referring team and the team they referred to the program. Teams that are referred must let KISS Institute know who introduced them to the Botball Program. Teams that are referred but do not attend the workshop or tournament will not be counted towards the incentive. If you refer a team, you may choose to also serve as a guide to the team leader to assure that they attend the workshop and to assist them with organizing their Botball team. Keep in mind, the team you refer does not have to be from your region.
KISS institute has established “Bot Spots” that are worth double the incentive for each team referred. These areas are:
- Atlanta, GA
- Boston, MA
- Cleveland, OH
- Dallas, TX
- Indianapolis, IN
- Los Angeles, CA
- Orlando, FL
- Pittsburgh, PA
- San Francisco, CA
The top teams with the most referred teams (minimum of two teams referred) attending the tournament will receive a full scholarship to participate in the following Botball season, in addition to their team incentives.
